Black Stars and Atletico Madrid midfielder ,Thomas Teye Partey, believes his colleagues can grind the results in Turin even though he did not make the trip for the second leg of the last 16 clash against Juventus on Tuesday March 12.

Partey, 25, will miss the return leg in Turin after picking a yellow card in their 2-0 win at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium last month.

Discussing his side’s chances in Italy on Tuesday night , Partey remained confident that his team mates will deliver the goods come what may to secure qualification into the quarter finals of the UEFA Champions league.

“We have a strong team with tough mentality, so I know the guys will fight hard to do the job in Italy”.He told Ghanacrusader.com.

Partey has made six appearances so far in the Uefa Champions league this season and would be looking to return in the quarter finals but not until his colleagues accomplish the huge task in Turin.

The Ghana international made his debut in the competition in 2016 at the Camp Nou and has since grown in confidence in every season of the competition.

With a UCL runners up medal already, the lanky midfielder would fancy adding a Champions league winners medal to his cabinet.

Atletico Madrid head into Tuesday night’s clash with Juventus without Thomas Partey and Diego Costa but with a two goal advantage they cannot afford to blow away this big chance of qualification.

The Ghanaian will get the chance to play in the quarter final only if his colleagues secure qualification on Tuesday night.
