Ex-Al Hilal forward Abednego Tetteh issued another caution to Asante Kotoko ahead of the penultimate CAF Confederation Cup Group C showdown against his former employers.

The Porcupine Warriors will be aiming to boost their chances of advancing to knockout round of the CAF Confederation Cup when they host Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omdurman at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The Reds sit second on the Group C standings with six points, one adrift of their Sunday's opponents and a win for either side will brighten their chances of qualifying from the group.

Having lost to the Sudanese in the reverse leg by a goal to nil, Tetteh who donned the jersey of the Blue Sharks during the 2016/17 season says the Ghanaian side could be laughing at the wrong side of their mouths should they underrate the away performance of his former club.

The Real Kashmir striker made a similar call before Charles Akonnor's charges lost 1-0 in Omdurman.

"Al Hilal are really thirsty for the CAF Confederation Cup so they will come into the game to win in Kumasi," he told Ashhfm.

"Kotoko players should be very careful else Al Hilal can come and cause havoc in Kumasi"

The 28-year-old disclosed how the Sudanese over the years have approached their games, which seem to be working for them in this years campaign.

"I don't think the players were given winning bonus in their win against Kotoko in their home game because, the management of the team don't give winning bonus when they win by a goal to nil. It happened during my days with the club.

"The management don't like a one goal win in a game, they always want more goals when playing games so it will be do or die playing against Kotoko on Sunday"
