Sadat Karim on target again as Halmstads BK advance to Swedish Cup quarter-final round

Ghanaian forward Karim Sadat registered his name on the scoresheet again for Halmstads BK as they played 1-1 with Karlstad BK to advance to the quarter-final stage of the Swedish Cup on Sunday.

Sadat continued form where he left off last week following his superb brace in the 2-1 win over IK Sirius in the Svenska Cup.

The 27-year-old sent the side's teeming supporters at the Orjans Vall Stadium into ecstasy mood after fetching the opener with a close range finish four minutes before half time.

However, the Yellow and Blue lads could not hold on to their slim advantage as Victor Edvardsen restored parity for the visitors in the 56th minute of the game.

Despite probing for the winner late on, Karlstad BK held on to pick a point from the game.

Sadat played full throttle of the match likewise his teammate and compatriot Thomas Boakye.

He has scored three goals in his three appearances for Halmstads BK.
