Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris has bid his departed Nantes attacking partner Emiliano Sala.

The Argentine striker was officially confirmed dead on Thursday, February 7, 2019, after his body was retrieved from the crashed plane under the sea in the English Channel.

Waris who was close to Sala indicated that the player’s name will be in their heart forever though he is gone.

” You were loved by everyone and you will be remembered by everyone. R.I.P” Waris posted on his Facebook Page.

Sala, 29, joined Cardiff City for a club record fee of 15 million Pounds from Nantes on January 18, 2019, but a private jet carrying him to Wales three days later got lost on radar.

After a series of search, the plane was found under the deep sea in the English channel after which the striker’s body was identified.
