Ghanaian winger, Alidu Namhan has arrived in Oman to sign for top Jordan premiership side, Club Al-Jazeera based in Oman.

Reports in the media for the past two weeks point to the fact that Ghana Premiere League biggest rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko were in a tussle over the signature of talented talented winger.

The player opted for the Asian champions after a short stint with two former champions league winners while Kotoko, on the other hand, was busy plotting to lure Namhan to Kumasi.

The 22-year-old attacker had been training with the Phobians and was instrumental in their two friendly matches against Tudu Might Jets and Agona Fankobaa.

The Porcupine Warriors, on the other hand, kept a close eye, monitoring the player but failed to capture the skilful attacking midfielder.

However, the former Union Sportive of Gabon playmaker arrived in Oman Friday morning at about 8 am to a resounding welcome by the management of the club.

Namhan is expected to undergo medicals and a possible two-year contract with the Asian club.

However, the former Danbort FC attacker last season scored 7 goals in 24 appearances out of 28 Gabon Championnat National D1 (top league) outings, with 16 assists to his credit in the Gabonese giants Union Sportive (USB).

Namhan joined Union Sportive in 2016 from Real Tamale United (RTC) FC in Ghana on a two-year deal.
