Wierd But True: La Louviere have protested to the Belgian FA after Anderlecht equalised with a burst ball on Saturday before going on to win their first division home match 2-1. Walter Bassegio's 64th minute strike burst the ball on impact but it still flew into the net. La Louviere argue that under the laws of the game a match should be stopped if the ball bursts and play should resume from where it happened.

Following a 1-0 home defeat to Ashdod SC earlier this week, a shake-up is expected at Maccabi Tel Aviv

Ghana defender John Pantsil has been unable to find his form this season, and after giving away a penalty with a kamikaze lunge against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, he has lost favor with fans and fellow players.

Coach Nir Klinger will be looking first at shoring up his attack where both Ishamel Addo and Emile Mbamba have been barren.
