Afriyie Acquah could miss Empoli’s crucial League game against AC Milan on Thursday.

Empoli will welcome the former Italian Champions to the Stadio Carlo Castellani.

The blues could be missing their key midfielder who is currently receiving treatment after picking an injury in the team’s League game against Sassuolo over the weekend.

Acquah limped off as early in the 14th minute after a muscle problem.

The 27-year-old after undergoing test is said to have injured his left biceps femoris muscle.

Empoli will hence be racing against time to have the player fit for Thursday’s game.
