Ex- Hearts of Oak captain Amankwa Mmireku has called for fairness on the part of the match officials ahead of the dual with arch rivals Asante Kotoko at Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Amankwa Mireku has urged the match officials to be fair in their decisions as he advises supporters to respect the referee rulings despite the notion about match officials regarding the Anas exposé.

“I hope that all those who will turn up for the match wild display a sense of sportsmanship. The supporters should respect decisions of the match officials,” Amankwa Mmireku told Sikka FM.

“At this juncture, I will also expect match officials to try as much as possible to be fair and firm in their rulings,” he added.

Referee Maxwell Hanson will be the centre referee in Sunday’s friendly clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko.
