Ghana defender, Andy Kyere Yiadom was rated average by British portal Reading Chronicle on his debut for Reading in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.

Reading lost 2-1 against non-league side Eastleigh FC in their opening pre-season fixture.

Yaidom lasted just 45 minutes for the Championship side.

Leandro Bacuna got Reading’s only goal between Paul McCallum’s opener and Ben Williamson’s winner.

Callum Harriott made a promising long-awaited return from injury while Modou Barrow also looked lively in the first-half.

This is how the Reading Chronicle rated the Ghana lateral defender.

Andy Yiadom: 5/10 – Made some good challenges on the right and looked lively throughout the first half. Looks very paced down the flank and keen to push forward.

Reading signed the talented full-back from Barnsley where he was captain of the side on a four-year-contract.
