Up next? A place in the World Cup quarter-finals is at stake as Uruguay and Portugal face off in the last 16 this evening.

Cristiano Ronaldo struck four goals to spearhead Portugal through the group stages, though the Euro 2016 champions were very nearly dumped out of the tournament by Iran.

Ronaldo and his fellow forward players will have to be in top form to upset a Uruguay side who are yet to concede a goal in this World Cup, and one who found their scoring boots in a 3-0 win over Russia to top their group last week

It has taken Luis Suarez some time to get going for Uruguay, but La Celeste fans will hope the Barcelona star - along with PSG's Edinson Cavani - have found their feet in time for the knockout stages.
