All set for 2018 Calcio Trade Ball tonight at the plush Kempinski hotel

Organisers have confirmed a star-studded list for the 3rd edition of Calcio Trade Ball event at Kempinski Hotel tonight.

It is under theme ''Life Skills beyond Football''.

Aside the awardees of Stephen Appiah, Kwadwo Asamoah and others, Sammy Kufuor and a host of high-profile people from football, business and diplomacy are expected in attendance.

The strictly-by-invitation event is organised by ArthurLegacy and the Italian Embassy Accra, with 250 people confirmed for tonight.

The unique event, seemingly the only one of its kind anywhere in African football, awards deserving athletes and serves a dinner reception in the manner of a soirée.

Chief organiser and the leading football agent Oliver Arthur says CTB is a unique concept aimed at celebrating past and present Ghanaian footballers who have at one time or another played in Italy.

It is also celebrating the contribution of the state of Italy to the development of Ghana football.
