Golden Sticks emerge champions of Hockey tournament

Cape Coast, Sept. 7 GNA - Golden Sticks of Bank of Ghana beat Customs, Excise and Preventive Service (CEPS), 8-7 on penalties to lift the Afahye Cup of the hockey tournament played at the University of Cape Coast, on Saturday.

The clubs that participated in the tournament comprised Kumasi Stadium Club, Exchequers, Multi Stix, NKD financial services and Citizens all from Accra as well as Cape Coast Hockey club.

The tournament was organised by the Cape Coast Hockey Club Association to climax the sporting activities of the celebration of the Oguaa Fetu Afahye festival held at Cape Coast over the week-end.
