Sharani Zuberu misses Ghana U20 trip to Algeria after twisting ankle in training

Striker Sharani Zuberu could not travel with the Ghana U20 team to Algeria for the 2019 African Youth Championship qualifier because of an ankle injury.

The Dreams FC top marksman twisted his ankle in training on Monday and had to be left out of the Black Satellites squad.

He is to be assessed by his club's medical team to ascertain the extent of the injury.

The four-goal Ghana Premier League player is expected to be fit for the return leg against the Algerians.
