Assistant Coach of Elmina Sharks Felix Aboagye insists his side struggle when playing home games after drawing with Ashantigold.

Elmina Sharks were held to a pulsating draw at the Ndoum Park by Ashantigold, despite playing some good football.

According to the former Black Stars striker, the players look "jittery" and under pressure when playing in front of their own supporters, something the Coaches are working on.

“We’ve addressed that to the players. We’ve realised it and we’ve tried to psyche the players on because maybe when they play at home, they look jittery but when they go away, they get the confidence to play. “Aboagye told the Press after their draw with Ashanti Gold.

“We hope the processes we’re taking our players on will yield results. We are doing well in general.”

Despite the away form looking better than their home record this season, Felix Aboagye wants a quick remedy to the situation.

The former Liberty Professionals Coach also added that the sooner they get good results at the home the better they become in the Ghana Premier League.

“We don’t try to differentiate between home and away because that’s how the league is played. If it’s only away, then it means our team is very good but hopefully we’re trying to overcome that dilemma at home games,” he concluded.
