Asante Kotoko striker Songne Yacouba says his teammates are still getting used to his style of player but vowed to work hard in training to master their chemistry.

The Burkinabe international joined the Porcupine Warriors prior the start of the campaign but missed the early parts of the league due to delay in the arrival of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

“My colleagues are not used to my style of play and so we will be training to get used to each other, I will be telling them how I want the balls to be given to me, putting the ball on the ground so I can make lot of movements taking defenders on so I can score.” Yacouba told Oyerepa FM

“I feel very good playing again, I thank God for the strength to feature after staying off the pitch for about six months.”

Yacouba who has featured in two games so far this season also lauded the Kotoko fans who came to back them against Karela in midweek.

“I thank all the supporters who came to watch us against Karela, next time I will make them happy and make them feel okay. They should continue to support the team and the players, I promise we will take the league for them”
