Team Ghana’s poor start to the 2018 Commonwealth Games continued after losing the Men’s Table Tennis Doubles to Guyana.

Felix Lartey and Derrick Abrefa failed to glitter as they went down 3-1 in the round of 32 on Friday.

“We did our best but it wasn’t enough,” Lartey after their defeat told Ghanacrusader.com.

“We will be looking forward to the Men’s Singles which is on Sunday, and we will do our best to make the nation proud,” he added.

On Thursday, in the Swimming competition (Abeiku Jackson and Jason Arthur) failed to qualify for the finals while in Men’s Boxing Wahid Omar and Abubakari Quartey lost their respective bouts.
