The owner and bankroller of Elmina Sharks, Dr Paa Kwesi Ndoum has tasked the technical handlers of the team to finish in the Top Four of this year’s Ghana Premier League campaign all be fired.

In their first year in the Ghanaian top flight, Elmina Sharks finished 9th on the league table, amassing 42 points in 30 games.

But ahead of the start of the new league campaign, Ndoum, has set his sights and ambitions high and says he has provided the team all they need to excel.

The business mogul cum politician in an interview with Ghanaweb.com, said he was impressed with the team’s output last season, but is convinced that there is more room for improvement.

“As a team we want to play exciting football, so that when Elmina Sharks go anywhere people can be assured of entertaining football. But people that we have engaged; the managers, technical men, and the rest they know what I want, which is the Top Four. They know that this season it is Tip Four or they fall out.”

Nduom has recently purchased a brand new bus for the team and has provided the funds for the team to recruit some experienced players to augment the squad.

The Ghana Premier League is expected to commence in February.
