Aduana Stars have released long-serving goalkeeper Stephen Adams after both parties agreed to part ways.

The Ghana international final leaves the Dormaa side after eight years at the Club.

Adams during his time with Aduana Stars won two League titles and also made a Champions League appearance with the Club.

His position however was occupied by former Ghana youth international Joseph Addo who joined the Club from Asante Kotoko.

The arrival of Joseph Addo dropped Adams to the bench where he struggled to make a first team appearance last season.

The goalkeeper after talks with the Club have decided to move on by joining another Club.

He represented Ghana at the 2014 Championship of African Nations Cup (CHAN) tournament in South Africa and also made the cut for the FIFA World Cup that same year.
