Ghana and Red Star Belgrade forward Richmond Boakye Yiadom says he's open to a return to Italy at some point in time in his career.

Yiadom joined Red Star Belgrade on a three-year deal from Italian Serie B side Latina at the start of the season following an impressive loan spell.

Following his remarkable performance for the Serbian giants this season in the SuperLig and also the Europa League, Yiadom has been linked with a move to a host of clubs as the January transfer draws near.

And Boakye-Yiadom, who spent his formative years in Italy, says he would relish a chance to play in the championship again if the opportunity arises during an interview with Italian tabloid Calcio mercarto.

"I'm still following him and I'm following my team, which is Juve, but in general, all the teams I've been to have grown up and always wanted to do it, for the people of Genoa and Anointance I have been like a child; which I learned in Italy, with so many good coaches, I have also served here. If Italy calls me I am ready to return."

The 24-year-old has played for four clubs in Italy, which included Juventus, Genoa, Sassuolo, Atalanta and Latina.

Since arriving in Serbia, Yiadom has netted 33 goals in 43 appearances for Red Star Belgrade.
