Midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has been handed a starting role in Ghana's final 2018 World Cup qualifier against Egypt at the Cape Coast stadium this afternoon (Sunday, November 12)

Wakaso who is making a return to the team after a short absence is expected to partner Ebenezer Ofori in midfield as Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah eyes a win in the final game of the qualifiers.

Also starting in this game is Godfred Donsah who plays his football for Bologna in Italy.

Young boys defender Kasim Nuhu will partner Daniel Amartey at the heart of Ghana's defense with Lumor Agbenyenu and Harrison Afful all forming the back four.

Norway based Edwin Gyasi will make his Black Stars debut in midfield for Sunday's game.

FC Zurich forward Raphael Ofori will lead Ghana's attack with Nana Ampomah also starting the match.

The game is expected to kick off at 1530hrs at the Cape Coast stadium.
