Frank Acheampong joins Tianjin Teda on permanent deal

Ghana international Frank Acheampong has officially been transferred to Chinese Club Tianjin Teda.

Anderlecht confirmed the player has joined the Chinese Super League side on a permanent deal.

The 22-year-old exhausted his six month loan deal at the Chinese Club where he helped them avoid relegation.

Tianjin Teda expressed their interest to sign the player permanently after his loan deal with the Club.

A deal was agreed between the two Clubs on Wednesday which will see the former Ghana U20 winger becoming a player of Tianjin Teda.

Meanwhile the former Buriam United star will be with Anderlecht where he will be training with the Club until March when the new Chinese Super League season begins.

The Black Stars player was initially a target for several European Clubs including Italian Serie A side AS Roma.

He won three Belgian League titles with Anderlecht since joining them in 2013.
