Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan may be known in public circles as a footballer and a musician but the ‘Baby Jet’ has once again proven that he is a man of many talents.

The Black Stars captain has been spotted learning to noble art of self-defense (boxing), in a gym.

Asamaoh Gyan was captured in a video learning the rudiments of boxing from his boxer, Emmanuel ‘The Gameboy’ Tagoe in a gym.

Although Gyan has not stated his reason, it maybe that the flamboyant sportsman may be looking to chart a path in boxing when he hangs his boots in the near future. If that happens, Gyan’s move will be akin to that of former Manchester United player Rio Fedinarnd, who also revealed his plans to venture into boxing after retiring from football earlier this year.

As a passionate fan of boxing, Gyan’s Baby Jet Promotions promotes the bouts of Gameboy, who has gone ahead to win IBO lightweight titles ever since he was signed onto the label.

Gyan is currently in Ghana and he will lead the Black Stars in their final 2018 World Cup qualifier against Egypt on Sunday at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
