Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey insists his team will 'fight till the end' after their 1-1 draw against Qarabag left them in a difficult s in the Champions League.

Partey's second half goal cancelled out Michel's opener as Los Colchoneros once again stuttered in the competition.

After four group matches Los Rojiblancos are still without a victory and they sit four points behind Chelsea, who are in second place, with only six points left on offer.

But the Ghanaian insists they must fight on despite being in a shaky situation to qualify to the knockout stage.

"We have lacked a bit of luck to score the second goal. We played a great game and now we can not lower our arms, "said Thomas.

"We have created many occasions. We have to keep fighting as a team, "he added.

"We all work to score goals every weekend. We have to continue without lowering our arms and fighting until the end ."

Another reason for Los Colchoneros supporters to pessimistic is that the club's two remaining group matches are versus Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and group leaders, Roma, at the Wanda Metropolitano.
