The International Taekwondo Children fighter Champion, Rejoice Da-Silveira emerged as the best fighter of the Norlympics Taekwondo children Open Championship 2017 which took place at the refurbished rlg Hathiramani sports hall at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The father of the international Taekwondo fighter, Mr Da-Siveira, who is also the founder of the Da-Siveira club in Ashanti region expressed joy for the performance of her daughter.

" I am very happy and thank God for making my daughter emerge as the best fighter of the tournament" he said.

" I am not surprise at her performance because she has gone to Benin, Niger and other countries and she won gold and bronze medals for the club. She never let me down" he added.

She was awarded a mini washing machine to encourage her to win more medals for the country.

Ajara Lopsab, a 13 years girl from Abyaano MA JHS school in Kumasi also emerged the best female fighter of the tournament.

Rapheal Yeboah also emerged best male fighter of the 6th Norlympics Taekwondo Children Open Championship this year. He was awarded with a table top fridge.

His trainer, Mr Owuo said he trains a lot of children in this sport but he gets shock at the performance of Rapheal anytime he comes for training.
"I train some Manu children but Rapheal has always topped them all" he said.
"I thank God for the victory" he added.
