In a few days, the Black Stars will take on the Pharaohs of Egypt in the final World Cup qualifier.

Head Coach Kwesi Appiah has put up his squad for the upcoming game, selecting 23 players with the return of midfielder Mubarak Wakaso to the set-up. There is still no place for the Ayew brothers, Andre and Jordan, who will be missing a third international game on the bounce and no place for Thomas Partey, who is out through suspension.

The Black Stars will face the Pharaohs in Cape Coast on Sunday, November 12 in a match which Kwesi Appiah will use to check on his team, try out new players and give confidence to the others who have little international game time under their belt. Skipper Asamoah Gyan also returns to the side after missing the team’s last two matches through injury.
