The newly-crowned MTN FA Cup champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko are expected to be welcomed to Kumasi this afternoon by their numerous supporters after walloping their arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak 3-1 in the MTN FA Cup final in Tamale on Sunday.

The players and officials of the Fabulous club will go through the principal streets of the Ashanti Regional capital starting from Maakro to Suame Roundabout through Abrepo Junction to Bantama then to Bekwai Roundabout as well as Adum and Labour before finally ending it at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and Stadium Hotel.

Kotoko on Sunday put smile in the faces of their supporters by defeating Hearts of Oak by three goals to one to win the 2016-17 MTN FA Cup competition.

Striker Sadick Adams who joined the Reds in the second round of the league netted a first half hat trick before the Phobians skipper Thomas Abbey headed home a consolation in the second half.
