Veria FC secure Vision duo on transfer deadline day

Veria FC have completed the signing of Ghanaian duo Alex Yamoah and Gideon Ofori Offei, FootballMadeInGhana.com can exclusively confirm.

The Greek club managed to secure the services of the two Vision FC players before the European transfer deadline on Thursday.

Both players have had successful medicals and signed three-year deals.

The signing of the Vision FC duo, especially regarding Offei represents a major coup for Veria FC as the player was being tracked by the likes of Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

Serbian club FK Cukaricki also sent in a late bid to sign the duo and almost secured their services but for the swiftness of Veria. Offei has had a breakaway season for Vision FC this term, scoring 16 goals in all competitions.

Both players were playing in their second successive year in the Ghanaian second tier league.
