Referee Nuhu Liman to face Match Review Panel today

Wa based referee, Yakubu Nuhu Liman, is set to meet the Match review panel for his decision to award Kumasi Asante Kotoko a spot kick against Nea Salamina.

The long serving referee has come under public scrutiny with many fans across the country doubting the authenticity of his decision to award a very late penalty to Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the MTN FA Cup qualifiers.

The media engulfed referee will have to clear himself at the match review panel later today ahead of the weekends premier league fixtures.

If found culpable of awarding a wrong spot kick, referee Nuhu Liman could be slapped with some band and might not return for the remainder of the season.
