Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has reaffirmed his confidence in his squad as they can be able to surmount the impending task of qualifying to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

The Black Stars currently lie third in Group E with just a point and face an uphill task if they are to leapfrog Egypt who are top of the group with six points.

According to Appiah, he is satisfied with the squad at his disposal and hopefully they can stage magnificent come back in the qualifiers despite their sluggish start.

“I’m satisfied with the squad at my disposal. I just want to help them compete better in the remainder of the qualifying campaign and beyond. We have some young players in the team and we’ve got to ensure they kick on in the future, ” he told FIFA.com

Meanwhile, Kwesi Appiah is expected to name his 23-man squad in the coming days ahead of the two successive matches against Congo in the World Cup qualifiers.
