Azumah Nelson Jnr., son of Ghanaian boxing legend, Azumah Nelson, is set to explode on Saturday night when he faces Oliver Duffy in the 4 edition of the Azumah Nelson Fight Night at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra.

Dubbed as “Ghana vs U.K,” Nelson Jnr., is expected to replicate similar heroics of his father when he mounts the ring in a non-title amateur bout with the British.

“I am in the amateur ranks because I am in school, so when I am done with school, I will know when to turn pro. My dad was a very great boxer so I’m aspiring to be like him. I will be grateful if I’m able to achieve half of what he did,” Nelson Jnr., who announced his presence on the boxing scene in 2005, said.

He added that “Everybody is different. You can’t really have the same style because as I’m coming up I’m picking different things, you learn from different places but it is mainly my dad because he is my mentor.”

Other bouts will feature Ghanaian Super Featherweight Champ, Wahab Oluwaseum, facing off with Irish opponent, John Hicks, while UK boxer, Kieran Leinster, will challenge Emmanuel Anim of Ghana; London-based boxer, Anthony Ayinde, will battle Ghana’s Raphael Kwabena King.
