The Youth and Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah has ‘successfully resolved’ the tensions between feuding Ghana FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi and his vice George Afriyie.

There have been recent media reports of a fierce conflict between the two topmost officials of the GFA, with the vice president George Afriyie allegedly accusing his boss of being “greedy and very wicked”.

Mr. George Afriyie is believed to have sent a text message to Nyantakyi describing the latter as a selfish leader who will never change.

But according to a sports ministry source, the two have met with the minister with all issues resolved and have decided to work together again.

Reports of the frosty relationship between the two top officials of the Ghana FA has dominated the Ghanaian media landscape in recent weeks.

The situation, however, hit an all-time low earlier this month when Afriyie allegedly launched a scathing attack on the CAF 1st vice president via a damaging text message.
