Ex-Kotoko Executive Chairman Dr. K. K. Sarpong has visited the team at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium where medical tests are taking place.

The newly-appointed Chief Executive of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation has reached out to the players who suffered injuries in Wednesday's fatal accident.

He had earlier released a statement consoling with the victims.

Asante Kotoko's team bus crashed into a stationary vehicle on the Nkawkaw-Kumasi highway which claimed the life of the club's assistant kit officer.

They were returning from Accra where they played Inter Allies in the Ghana Premier League.
