I want to be the best 400m athlete in the whole world - Rafiatu Nuhu

The 16-year old 400m runner Rafiatu Nuhu is among the twelve (12) athletes to participate in the Commonwealth Youth games in Bahamas.

She has promised Gold in the upcoming Commonwealth Youth games in 400m.

she stated: “I have trained very well ahead of the competition so i promised Ghanaians that,i will definitely come back from Bahamas with a gold medal”
She again stated that, athletics is something that she likes doing since childhood.

“I like athletics so much since my school days in primary, it is something I want to do in my career and i want to be the best 400m athlete in the whole world”

Rafiatu Nuhu competed in four national circuit championships organized by Ghana
Athletics Association (GAA) this year.

She was second runners up in the first circuit championship in Tamale, first in the second circuit championship at the El Wak sports stadium, first in the third circuit championship held in Kumasi with the time of 53.56 seconds and also first in the final circuit held in Cape Coast with the time of 53.53 seconds.
