Abeiku Jackson hopes to excel at 2017 Commonwealth Youth Games

Ghana’s top ranked athlete in swimming, Abeiku Jackson, is hoping to excel at the upcoming 2017 Commonwealth Youth Games scheduled to be held in Bahamas from 19 to 23, July,2017.

The 16-year-old will be Ghana’s sole representative in swimming in the competition where he will be competing in the 100 metres butterfly.

“It is going to be a big challenge for me because there are many other good swimmers and more experienced swimmers coming to participate, “ Abeiku said on KWESE Sports.

“But I have been training very hard ahead of this competition and I hope I make Ghana proud.

“I want to make an impression and I am ready to give my best at the competition.”

Jackson represented Ghana at the 2016 Olympics Games where he recorded a personal best of 24.30 seconds
