Tema Captain's Prize tees off on March 27

Tema, March 18, GNA - The Tema Country Golf Club Captain's Prize competition, which was postponed two weeks ago, now, tees off at Tema on Saturday, March 27.

A spokesman for the club, told the GNA Sports at Tema on Wednesday that the one-day 18-Hole Stableford competition which is open to amateur golfers from Achimota, Tema, Celebrity and Bok Nam Kim golf clubs, is being sponsored by Mr Alex Yayra Fiagomey, Captain of the Tema Golf Club.

He said about 100 golfers have registered for the competition and the number is expected to increase by the close of registration on Thursday, March 25 due to the attractive prizes at stake. Bill Marshall, Victor Danku, Michael Aggrey, Johnn Cobbina and Nick Smallman would once again battle each other for the trophy after losing the Achimota Golf Club Captain's Prize played last week.
