Ghana’s Richard Commey now WBC number 4

Ghana’s Richard Commey is on the verge of getting a shot at the WBC lightweight belt as he has made massive improvement in the the latest World Boxing Council (WBC) ranking.

Commey who in the last edition of the ranking was ranked number 6 by the WBC in the lightweight division has now moved two places up in the latest ranking for the month of May.

The Ghanaian hard puncher before his last fight which was two months ago was ranked by number 9, and after claiming the WBC international silver lightweight belt against Hedi Slimani moved to 6th and now 4th.

The WBC lightweight belt which has been Commmey’s target is been held by Mikey Garcia from USA.
