We won't panic against Hearts of Oak - George Wiredu

Elmina Sharks Elmina Sharks

Elmina Sharks Team Manager George Wiredu has played down the importance of their week 12 clash with Hearts of Oak, claiming it's just like any other Ghana Premier League fixture.

Frank Nuttall's side have found a purple patch form recently in the ongoing campaign, having collected nine points from their last four games with the latest being in the 1-0 away victory over AshantiGold last Saturday.

But while recognizes the magnitude of the encounter, he brushed it off as just another match and says there will not be any need to shudder at the challenge.

"We will tackle the game just like any other despite it being against Hearts of Oak. It's not a game we should panic," says Wiredu on Happy FM.

"We are going to play our normal game and I believe with the right attitude we will carry the day.

The Phobians are 5th on the standings with 18 points after 11 outings ahead of the encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
