Italy head coach Giampiero Ventura, a huge admirer of Sassuolo's Claude Adjapong

The head coach of the Azzuri’s of Italy Giampero Ventura is a huge admirer of Ghanaian born Italian Claude Adjapong who plays for Italian side Sassuolo.

The 18-year-old has Ghanaian parents but was born in Italy and is seen as one of the rising stars of the Sassuolo set up that has produced some great players in the past.

He broke to the lime-light earlier this season and there have been talks he could be called up for the national team soon.

Italy head coach Giampero Ventura has been out to see him play a couple of times this season.
