Ghana Football Association technical director Oti Akenteng is of the view that qualification to the 2018 World Cup is out of Ghana's hands.

According to him, it will be difficult for the Black Stars to overtake Egypt who have opened a five point lead in Group E.

“It’s not an easy task to qualify ahead of Egypt,” he said.

“If we (Ghana) were leading Egypt by five points, we wouldn’t allow them to qualify ahead of us, so they won’t allow us to qualify too.

“Despite how difficult it’ll be, we will still try our best to qualify for the World Cup.

“We should be hopeful that we win our remaining matches,” Coach Oti Akenteng added.

Ghana drew with Uganda and lost 2-0 to Egypt- that puts the Black Stars third in Group E with just a point
