Elmina Sharks midfielder Anthony Yerful is optimistic his side will finish in the top 4 this season.

Sharks who are only making their debut appearance in the Ghana Premier League have been impressive so far as they lie 7th on the table.

The Elmina-based Club have been able to record four home wins making the Ndoum Stadium a fortress for many Clubs.

Yerful, one of the experienced players in the team insist his side can end up in the top four.

“Before the season we told ourselves we want to stay in the League because this is only our first season in the League,” he told Ghana Sports Newspaper.

“We wanted to make an impression and I think things are working for us now.

“So far so good our performance have been good and we are all happy for that.

“We still have a long way to go because this is just the first round, the second round will be more difficult.

“But I am very confident we can finish in the top 4 if we maintain this kind of performance.”

The hard working midfielder signed for the Premier League debutantes after three seasons with former Ghana League Champions Ashanti Gold
