Former Bechem United goal poacher Abednego Tetteh has tipped Aduana Stars and Kotoko to win the 2017 Ghana Premier League.

The two clubs are joint top at the table with 16 points after eight Premier League games – the two sides were handed their first defeat in the ongoing campaign last week.

Aduana Stars lost 2-1 at Dwarfs while Kotoko lost 1-0 to their fiercest rivals Hears of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Though his former side are third on the log sheet with 14 points, but Tetteh in an interview with Class FM says Bechen United can’t win the league.

“I don’t think they (Bechem United) can win the league…” he answered when quizzed on who his choice of league champion will be.

He added: “My colleagues, from our conversation previously, are satisfied with their league start and position thus far. I see Kotoko and Aduana Stars battling for the title; should Bechem finish in third place, that will be a good season, although my wish is for them to annex the crown.”

Tetteh currently plies his trade in the Sudanese League with Al-Hilal Omdurman
