Medeama defender Moses Sarpong has mutually terminated his contract with the Club, Ghanasportsonline.com has been informed.

The left-back cancelled his deal with the Mauves and Yellows just one week to the start of the Ghana Premier League season.

The defender would need to find himself a new Club before the new season begins on February 4.

Sarpong has been key in the Medeama team playing a role in the team’s campaign at the CAF Confederations Cup last season.

The Ghana u20 ace is reported to have left the team’s pre-season exercise.

Medeama meanwhile are expected to officially confirm splitting with the defender.

The Takwa-based Club are reported to have lost defender Victor Ayireh who refused to extend his contract with the Club.
