Hearts of oak will win GPL title next season - Frank Nelson

Management member of Accra Hearts of Oak Frank Nelson is of a strong view the team can win the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League season.

Hearts of Oak have failed to win the domestic League title since 2008.

The Phobians who are undoubtedly one of the two most successful Clubs in the country are yet to win any silverware since 2013 when they defeated Asante Kotoko to win the President Club.

Frank Nelson who doubles as a management member of the Ghana Football Association believes his outfit (Hearts of Oak) are capable of winning the League next season.

“I believe you know is been a long time Hearts of Oak won the title. Is been eight years now since we won,” he spoke to Ghana Sports.

“Last year we were close but we lost out, but I can assure you next season is going to be different.

“We will surely win the title, it is a major target ahead of the season, to win the League title.”

Accra Hearts of Oak meanwhile are expected to name their new Coach ahead of the season.
