  this has come up before over the years even when it was changed so african cup dont fall on world cup year,a lot of europeans clubs wanted that bcos they dont want their players to go to afcon,but i think caf should not change it,african cup have always taken place in january and changing it would mean giving in to the rich european clubs,atsu as much as i like him,should put up and shut up,we have had players playing for big european clubs in the past and they all had to leave their clubs when needed,so someone tell atsu hes not the first and he wont be last,if hes a good player,he would get his club position back

  In june and july we have heavy tropical rain throughout in Africa. also it would not work in favor of the players at club level. In june/july players are supposed to be resting and preparing for preseason. if u play AFCoN in June or july chances are you might be too exhausted to partake in preseason for your club or you might miss preseason entirely. best solution is to make it every 4 years to make it more bearable for the clubs and the players instead of them having to endure these every two years

  South Africa is in Africa and it hosted the 2010 WC in the summer. Also, the UEFA championship is in summer and all the players show up and are able to go play for their clubs. Please, don't make excuses for this dumb CAF.

When they hosted the World Cup it was winter. Winter! It didn't rain to prevent games from been played. Winter cold weather does not impact football games like rain fall. So I don't know what you're talking about.
  If you don't understand why I wrote ask and I would explain to u. I did not give excuse to CAF. I offered a different solution. That's to stage the tournament every 4 yrears instead two years
