    South Africa is in Africa and it hosted the 2010 WC in the summer. Also, the UEFA championship is in summer and all the players show up and are able to go play for their clubs. Please, don't make excuses for this dumb CAF.

    analyse it for yourself, will you leave you club that pays for your everything to play in nations cup. they position in their clubs are not giving, they need to fight with other players for it.

    Concacaf Gold Cup(afcon version)in North America is also played every two years.Asian cup of nationsi is also played every two years
