Medeama SC officially release Malik Akowuah to Hearts of Oak

Medeama SC has announced the official release of midfielder Malik Akowuah to Accra Hearts of Oak ahead of next season.

In the wake of Hearts of Oak announcement of the signing of the dread-lock midfielder, Medeama SC released an official statement and threatened legal action against Accra Hearts of Oak for signing their prize asset without passing through the proper channel.

However, the club has come out with an official press release after two weeks which states that they have reached an agreement with the Accra-based giants and thanked the player for his loyal service to the club throughout his four-year stay.

Akowuah joined the Yellow and Mauves from AshGold in 2012 and became a core member of the club in their two FA Cup triumphs and contributed immensely in their CAF Confederations Cup impressive outing last season.
