Ghana coach Avram Grant insists 'we want to win' ahead of Egypt clash

Ghana coach Avram Grant has emphatically stated that his players are in Alexandria to win against Egypt on Sunday in the titanic Group E World Cup qualifier.

The Black Stars are under pressure to bag the points after a disappointing 0-0 home draw with Uganda.

Egypt won 2-1 at Brazzaville against Congo to go top of the Group.

With the dice loaded against them, Grant is refusing to settle for anything less than a win to get his side back on track.

''We want to win every game. This is the nature of Ghana and my nature also,'' the Israeli said at the Borg Airport in Alexandria before being whisked away the security personnel.

Ghana's squad will train at the Borg El-Arab Stadium in the evening.

The team jetted in from Dubai where they camped for five day to strategize for this assignment.
