Hearts of Oak have told its supporters to disregard rumours that acting managing director Vincent Sowah Odotei and head coach Sergio Traguil have been sacked.

Some media houses have insisted and reported that the duo have been release by the club with four matches to the end of the season.

A press release read: "Management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club Limited would want to inform the general sporting public that the club’s Acting Managing Director Mr Vincent Sowah Odotei and coach Sergio Traguil have not been sacked as is being reported by the media and on social media platforms, (Ghanafootballl.com and purported leaks on Asempa FM).

"The club is therefore appealing to its followers to disregard these reports since they carry no iota of truth.

"The two are still at post and have not bee sacked by the Board as rumoured. All Phobians are hereby reminded to remain calm as the team focuses on the last four games of the season.

"The management believes that this is a calculated attempt by some individuals to divert the attention of the club’s quest to fight for the league title and is therefore appealing to all Phobians to disregard."
