Matthew Amoah scores as RKSV Halsteren advance in Dutch Cup

Veteran striker Matthew Amoah scored in regulation in RKSV Halsteren’s penalty shoot-out victory over VVOG to reach the second round of the KNVB Cup.

Amoah scored to level the scoring for the amateur side in the second half as they drew in 120 minutes.

RKSV Halsteren has therefore qualified for the next round of the KNVB Cup and will take on third division club Capelle on 24 August.
