Dwarfs head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has revealed that he will extend his stay with Ebusua Dwarfs if the club wants him to extend his contract.

According to him, he was contracted by the club to save them from the claws of relegation but will agree to stay with them if they want him to.

“My contract with the club ends at the end of the season but if they think I should continue, why not? I will negotiate with them and continue my job,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com

“The task I was given was to take the team out of relegation and I think I am on course. Saying the team is still what I am working at. Any other thing that comes is a bonus,” he said.

“We are taking every match as the final match that can take us out of relegation or send us packing. So our target is still to escape relegation and that is it,” he added.

“So if the club believe in my philosophy and think that I can do better with them, then why not? I will gladly accept and stay with them,” he added.

The University of Cape Coast Physical Education lecturer was drafted in to aid the club escape relegation after J.E. Sarpong rooted the club at the end of the Premier League table.

Dwarfs are now eight on the league table and have a potential of even climbing up the ladder following Prosper Narteh’s arrival.

They have seven wins, two draws and two loses under the new coach, moving six places up the league ladder.
