I’ll knockout Kareem in round 3 - Micah

Undefeated WBO Africa bantamweight champion Duke Micah has promised a third round knockout win in his title defense against Nigeria's Yakuub Kareem on August 6.

The bout to be staged at the Accra Stadium and put together by UK-based Street Wise Sports Management will see Duke Micah also guard his clean record of 17 wins before the home crowd.

“This is my home and I will prove to my people that I am still in top form. I will defeat Yakuub Karim and he is training hard but this is my country and I will make my country proud”, he told Starr Sports.

Also on the bill is a final 12-round elimination bout for the national super welterweight title between Abdul Aziz Quartey and Kpakpo Allotey of the Bronx Gym over 10 rounds.
